Frequently asked questions

How do I clean my stained glass art?

Great question! It does matter what cleaner you use. It’s best to use a finishing compound made specifically for stained glass art. Betsy uses Studio Pro Stained Glass Finishing Compound on every piece for a professional finish. You can buy yours in the ONLINE SHOP!

Glass can smudge and metal will tarnish when in contact with moisture. Polish not only cleans, shines & protects the glass but will also clean and coat the metal and help prevent tarnish/corrosion.

Do you do custom work?

Typically Betsy does not do custom work, mostly because of time. She stays very busy with her current groovy art. That said, if you have a request it may fit into a collection or something she is working on so please ask. We won’t have a definite answer until we hear the specifics. Email us at BetsyRoweArt@gmail.com.

Will I receive the exact art piece I order in your online shop or will it be a similar piece you have in stock?

My you are full of great questions! You will receive the exact piece of art you order in our online shop. All pieces are one of a kind and listed separately. We attempt to capture images that best depict the art. We don’t use filters and strive to show the art in different lighting, angles and backgrounds. Please be aware that each monitor/screen can display colors differently.

What does opaque and translucent mean?

Opaque means you cannot see through it. Translucent means it allows light, but not detailed shapes, to pass through; it’s semitransparent. Transparent is clear.

Is Betsy really so happy all the time?

Hi! Betsy here. I’ll answer this one.

No and yes.

Life is hard. Life can throws curve balls and sucker punches. Sometimes our lives hand deliver us things we never thought we could endure. That sounds dramatic, because it can be.

I’ve found that the more challenging and painful a situation is, the harder I have to WORK to be happy.

Working at happiness, or contentment, has become a practice of doing things that lift my spirit as well as lower my guard to experience both love and pain. It is also applying healthy boundaries. It is a practice of aligning my thoughts with Light and Love.

It’s not an easy fix and it’s not a one-action solution, but I have experienced effective ways to live a life of joy by holding pain and happiness at the same time.
