Frequently asked questions

How do I clean my stained glass art?

Great question! It does matter what cleaner you use.* It’s best to use a finishing compound made specifically for stained glass art. Betsy uses Studio Pro Stained Glass Finishing Compound on every piece for a professional finish. You can buy yours in our ONLINE SHOP!

Metal will tarnish when in contact with moisture. Polish cleans, shines & protects the metal from tarnish/corrosion.

*Raw Glass can be cleaned with any glass cleaner. No polish needed.

Do you do custom work?

Typically Betsy does not do custom work, mostly because of time. She stays very busy with her current groovy art. That said, if you have a request it may fit into a collection or something she is working on so please ask. We won’t have a definite answer until we hear the specifics. Email us at BetsyRoweArt@gmail.com.

Will I receive the exact art piece I order in your online shop or will it be a similar piece you have in stock?

You will receive the exact piece of art you order in our online shop. All pieces are one of a kind and listed separately. We attempt to capture images that best depict the art. We don’t use filters and we strive to show the art in different lighting, angles and backgrounds. Please be aware that each monitor/screen can display colors differently.

What does opaque and translucent mean?

Opaque means you cannot see through it. Translucent means it allows light, but not detailed shapes, to pass through; it’s semitransparent. Transparent is clear.
