About Betsy’s Method
Betsy uses two different methods to create her stained glass art.
The traditional method with copper foil and solder.
Betsy also invented a method she calls “Raw Glass” where she scores, breaks, & grinds the desired shape then buffs the edges leaving the sides smooth & raw to expose the natural essence of the glass. It looks similar to kiln-fired pieces, but it’s hand-shaped & drilled as opposed to being melted in a mold.
